Die Schriftstellervereinigung PEN Berlin tourt mit einer Diskussionsreihe zum Thema Heimat. Die Veranstaltung in Berlin bildet den Abschluss der bundesweiten Reihe unter dem Motto »Ist das noch|schon mein Land?«, die durch fünf Bundesländer führte. Neben den eingeladenen Gästen – der Journalistin und Schriftstellerin Ece Temelkuran (Türkei) und der Lyrikerin und Übersetzerin Julia Cimafiejeva (Belarus) – ist auch das Publikum eingeladen, sich an der Diskussion zu beteiligen. Mehr noch: Das Publikum gestaltet als vierter Gast den Abend maßgeblich mit.

With a major series of discussions across Saxony-Anhalt ahead of the state elections, PEN Berlin invites you to debates on home and democracy. Two guests from different sectors of society come together – and engage with the audience.
Because here, the audience isn’t just an afterthought – it’s the third guest: They discuss, challenge, add to the conversation, and play a decisive role in shaping the evening. An open conversation about what holds society together and what threatens to tear it apart.
The discussion will feature journalist Ece Temelkuran, writer Julia Cimafiejeva, and the audience.
